it is helping me get organized and trying to use it for notetaking. The fact that powerpoints don't load well and no adobe is a problem for me |

Oct 17, 2011 1:42 PM |
It gave me even more mobility and made me rethink my commitment to a regular machine. For now it's still secondary but that could change as the applications get more robust. |

I don't have one |

Oct 17, 2011 11:35 AM |
I listen to the radio on it, I check the weather every morning on it; my 2- and 5-year-olds play on it as often as we let them. It enabled me to shop the first day of the Missoni for Target line at 6 am while getting ready for work... |
| 13 |
Oct 17, 2011 11:31 AM |
Now I can bring my Apple life to bed with me. Not sure this is a good thing but it's the way it is. |

I don't own one, but have used others' as a presentation tool and to order takeout. Pretty handy, it seems, but I'm trying to avoid adding one more device that will further my transformation into the Borg. |

It's a very close race with the iphone, it's still on the new side, but I foresee a huge impact going forward with this amazing apple product. being able to actually work with adobe products will really make a big improvement on my work life. |
| 56 |
Oct 14, 2011 10:35 AM |
again, made the inovation for a more portable touch laptop. I don't use the ipad, but I do use similar technologies. |
| 57 |
Oct 14, 2011 10:26 AM |
I don't have one. Nor do I think it will have the same impact as the iPhone. It is a big iPhone without the phone, after all. |
| 58 |
Oct 14, 2011 10:26 AM |
Similar to the iPhone, my iPad has increased my connectivity with my family and friends. I can hop on my iPad quickly to send an email, look up a restaurant, or just play a game with my mom. It's easy and portable. I also tend to arrive VERY early to everything, so I bring my iPad and read books on eBooks or the Kindle app. It's great. |
| 59 |
Oct 14, 2011 10:23 AM |
I need a devise to read books. I`m very happy with my Kindle |

Internet at your convenience is what an iPad is to me. Whether I'm on the couch or at my kid's various sports practices I'm always connected. Also, I read more news publications and books than ever before now that I have them with me anywhere I go. |
| 69 |
Oct 14, 2011 9:07 AM |
Don't use it |
| 70 |
Oct 14, 2011 8:49 AM |
I love my iPad, but its more of a fun toy for me and less of something I depend on. |
| 71 |
Oct 14, 2011 8:39 AM |
It opened up a new need state I didn't know that I had. It makes staying connected even easier. |
| 72 |
Oct 14, 2011 8:31 AM |
Almost don't go anywhere without it! Navigator, email, Kindle, ipod, photos... my whole life is on there. The size is also perfect for my middle aged eyes! |
| 73 |
Oct 14, 2011 8:30 AM |
I dint have one but benefit from my husband's, movie and picture viewing |
| 74 |
Oct 14, 2011 8:16 AM |

Oct 14, 2011 7:04 AM |
Don't have one |
| 76 |
Oct 14, 2011 5:25 AM |
I like it -- instant on, personal content consumption device with larger screen than smartphone for longer browsing, reading or photo "showing." In business use, not so useful as it doesn't really fit the purpose of content creation and is too big to use when walking through an aiport (vs smartphone/BlackBerry). Good for business e-mail on a short and time starved business trip when you know there will be no content to create -- otherwise you end up carrying 3 devices (+1 personal smartphone = 4). |
| 77 |
Oct 14, 2011 1:30 AM |
Never used, not sure if interested in it yet. |
| 78 |

Oct 13, 2011 10:18 PM |
still haven't been able to get it away from my kids, otherwise it would likely have been totally... |
| 82 |
Oct 13, 2011 10:13 PM |
Mobility, apps, photo taking, driving instructions. My husband asks me if I have it with me so he can access some of the feature when we are out. Don't you think it's about time for him to get his own! I'm no longer locked in chains at my computer. I can use this anywhere and it is large enough to see! |

Overhyped, I prefer a netbook. |

Oct 13, 2011 7:58 PM |

| 90 |
Oct 13, 2011 7:54 PM |

| 91 |
Oct 13, 2011 7:47 PM |
Another near-perfect platform to expand the iPhone experience, or make slightly more portable, the MacBook experience... |
| 92 |
Oct 13, 2011 7:31 PM |
Getting older , my eyes need larger screen to read, view, learn and be entertained! |
| 93 |
Oct 13, 2011 7:15 PM |
Never bought what is essentially an overpriced toy. |
| 94 |
Oct 13, 2011 6:58 PM |
It didn't make sense when Bill Gates introduced it years ago and doesn't make sense still. |
| 95 |
Oct 13, 2011 6:57 PM |
All of the above... |
| 96 |
Oct 13, 2011 6:47 PM |
Just got it and seems like I will develop the same dependence on it that I have on the iPhone |
| 97 |
Oct 13, 2011 6:40 PM |
Amazing how you can buy something that you didn't know you needed...and immediately you can't live without it. |
| 98 |
Oct 13, 2011 6:07 PM |
Since purchasing the iPad I never use my laptop. It is such a different and entirely immersive experience. |

Who needs a computer anymore? |
| 103 |
Oct 13, 2011 5:47 PM |
I actually own an iPad! It's very handy for vacations. Built-in 3G is very handy, and the performance is great. |
| 104 |
Oct 13, 2011 5:42 PM |
Don't have one. |
| 105 |
Oct 13, 2011 5:41 PM |
We have one but I find it too heavy and cumbersome to take with me - it's just an oversized iPhone. I use it as an additional source for the web, like a small laptop. |
| 106 |
Oct 13, 2011 5:34 PM |
But not for the better. It's a pain to use for work. The apps don't always play nicely with other programs. |
| 107 |
Oct 13, 2011 5:30 PM |
Definitely an improved form factor |
| 108 |
Oct 13, 2011 5:18 PM |

| 111 |
Oct 13, 2011 4:59 PM |
I'm about to get one for my boyfriend for Christmas so we can bring that with us on vacations instead of packing up our laptops. |
| 112 |
Oct 13, 2011 4:59 PM |

| 113 |
Oct 13, 2011 4:58 PM |
I haven't used one yet. |
| 114 |
Oct 13, 2011 4:49 PM |
I love the iPad but still haven't integrated it fully into the business and don't see it replacing my laptop. I type to fast to be able to use the screen keyboard. |
| 115 |
Oct 13, 2011 4:47 PM |
not much i do with the ipad but browse internet in bed |
| 116 |

| 121 |
Oct 13, 2011 4:19 PM |
One of my favorite possessions. I love traveling with it because I can listen to music and play games or read a book all at the same time. It has reduced what I carry when I fly. |
| 122 |
Oct 13, 2011 4:19 PM |
Got a Mac dont need one of them yet. |
| 123 |
Oct 13, 2011 4:14 PM |
I expect it to change soon. I will be ordering my iPad within the coming few weeks. |
| 124 |
Oct 13, 2011 4:13 PM |
Not as addicted to it as my phone |
| 125 |
Oct 13, 2011 4:13 PM |
An extension of the iPhone and iPod. Showing clients our portfolio or checking work, the iPad is a must. |
| 126 |
Oct 13, 2011 4:12 PM |
Have had it for a year, still implementing. |
| 127 |

It's certainly a great tool, but its use is very different from the iPod or iPhone. |
| 132 |
Oct 13, 2011 3:53 PM |
it's about to |
| 133 |
Oct 13, 2011 3:51 PM |
Convenient, versatile, apps, easy to use, integration with iTunes. I can see using my iPad more for certain activities than what I'm doing with it currently. |
| 134 |
Oct 13, 2011 3:47 PM |
Use it all the time no need most of the time to carry a laptop most of the time |
| 135 |
Oct 13, 2011 3:45 PM |
It is the best recipe holder and great for skyping! |
| 136 |
Oct 13, 2011 3:45 PM |
I don't have one and not sure that I need one. |
| 137 |

| 150 |
Oct 13, 2011 3:22 PM |
Doesn't support Flash. And without it, it's not worth the price to access only part of the internet. And the glossy screen is too hard to use it as a book reader. Better off with a Kindle for eBooks. And a netbook or notebook for full web experience. |
| 151 |
Oct 13, 2011 3:18 PM |
It's a giant iPhone that's less useful. Woo. |
| 152 |
Oct 13, 2011 3:15 PM |
A client gave me an iPad 1 for a project we were work on. I find it incredibly frustrating and not practical for my work. I've used it only as much as I needed to for the project. Haven't turned it on in 3 weeks. |
| 153 |
Oct 13, 2011 3:11 PM |
