Jul 15, 2010 6:52 PM Well if was something more entertaining maybe I'd like it. I'd rather go for a run.
Jul 15, 2010 6:52 PM Business is business and I'm lucky to still have a business in this economy, albeit I have had to go completely International for my Real Estate Development Consulting business.
Jul 15, 2010 6:54 PM I tried the Palm Treo on the company's dime. Returned it to IT within a week. I REFUSE to be on call for a job that really has no emergencies.
Jul 15, 2010 7:06 PM I can live without them. I can play tennis without them. Go to the movies without them.
Jul 15, 2010 7:31 PM especially when i should be paying attention to someone else.
Jul 15, 2010 7:52 PM Facebook started out as pure fun for me, but now I feel compelled to keep checking to keep up what's going on with friends and it's become just one more thing to eat up time. Ugh. The worst to me is all the Farmville type games...yuck.
Jul 15, 2010 8:39 PM we are still on dial-up out here in the woods of VT, so it all just takes longer than it should!
Jul 15, 2010 8:41 PM We now live in a digital world and it's how we stay connected to work, friends, everything. I wish it were less though. I feel tethered to my work 24/7
Jul 15, 2010 9:05 PM But you can keep in touch and keep the back up of work from building up while you're out of the office.
Jul 16, 2010 12:56 AM There's so much fun stuff to do in addition to work!
Jul 16, 2010 3:30 PM Computer games can be a great way to de-stress and escape.
Jul 16, 2010 8:00 PM It's just too easy to open the lap top whenever I walk by my home office. It's always plugged in, sleeping, waiting to be awakened.
Jul 17, 2010 4:42 PM They're an evil necessity.
Jul 17, 2010 8:35 PM There are times when I do turn it off and sit back with a book.
