Aug 17, 2011 9:59 AM don't need a name brand
Aug 17, 2011 9:14 AM It feels like Nike running shoes were made exclusively for my foot.

Aug 16, 2011 12:59 PM Nike has terrible running shoes.
Aug 16, 2011 12:14 PM Shy away from Nike because they are too expensive for what you get and I feel that I'm paying for their advertising. They also control the market by only allowing a set number of athletic shoes released in the most popular sizes (mens 13). Caused me a lot of grief when my son was a high schooler participating in sports. I could never find shoes for him as stores only received a certain amount of shoes in his size that were inevitabley sold out by the time I could find them - after searching the STATE, the same State where Nike is head quartered. Don't like their ability to "buy" athletics & college sports teams (U of O)
Aug 16, 2011 10:33 AM I love everything that Nike is and their ads rule. I'm hooked.
Aug 16, 2011 8:39 AM Just do it!

Aug 15, 2011 5:44 PM more versatile.
Aug 15, 2011 5:12 PM I 'm not
Aug 15, 2011 5:02 PM UA
Aug 15, 2011 4:38 PM I like their shoes, apparel and ads. They are just a better brand to me.
Aug 15, 2011 4:29 PM I usually like the fit of their products.
Aug 15, 2011 4:22 PM I choose whichever product works best for me in different categories

Aug 15, 2011 1:48 PM No products of either brand fit me well.
Aug 15, 2011 1:45 PM Comfort, style and price tag are all that matter.
Aug 15, 2011 1:43 PM Adidas seems a lesser, different style brand. not an adidas person/ family.
Aug 15, 2011 1:42 PM They have alot more variety and are a more established well known brand
Aug 15, 2011 1:40 PM I like their designs

Aug 15, 2011 1:29 PM I wear what fits best at the time and is most comfortable. I don't look at brands when I'm buying workout gear. I don't go to the gym to look good at the gym, I go to the gym to look good outside the gym.
Aug 15, 2011 1:29 PM they support skateboarding
Aug 15, 2011 1:25 PM Not good for running.
Aug 15, 2011 1:25 PM Not an area that particularly interests me.
Aug 15, 2011 1:25 PM Price trumps technology/performance for me. I'm not a performance athlete.
Aug 15, 2011 1:24 PM Usually see more Nike apparel and i like their sneakers better
Aug 15, 2011 1:23 PM Sponsor my favorite college team
Aug 15, 2011 1:23 PM I like their styles better.
Aug 15, 2011 1:22 PM Had Nike since I was a kid.
Aug 15, 2011 1:21 PM I prefer under armour, new balance.
Aug 15, 2011 1:20 PM don't buy name brand sports apparel
Aug 15, 2011 12:50 PM No loyalty with any brand for sports gear or wear, but if anything, smaller, local brands.
Aug 15, 2011 11:08 AM I love the swoop
Aug 15, 2011 11:05 AM Nike is rumored to use child labor
Aug 15, 2011 8:43 AM Always had Nike shoes, they fit better, clothes last longer
Aug 15, 2011 8:22 AM Tend to just buy other brands, these either don't have what I like to are too expensive.

Aug 12, 2011 4:35 PM Nike makes women's running pants in a variety of lengths, I haven't had the same experience with Adidas.
Aug 12, 2011 4:30 PM Cooler
Aug 12, 2011 3:37 PM Tiger Woods?
Aug 12, 2011 3:30 PM n/a

Aug 12, 2011 1:01 PM fit and variety
Aug 12, 2011 11:28 AM I hate the Nike resigned Michael Vick - I'll never buy their products again
Aug 12, 2011 10:25 AM I could care less about either of them.
Aug 12, 2011 10:19 AM Both have good quality products.
Aug 12, 2011 9:29 AM Other brands less expensive

Aug 11, 2011 7:47 PM Assortment
Aug 11, 2011 6:10 PM Buy on looks, price, not brand
Aug 11, 2011 6:09 PM We don't buy much sports apparel by brand.
Aug 11, 2011 6:04 PM It's the lesser 'mass hysteria' brand (Nike is a bit too 'precious' for themselves...)
Aug 11, 2011 5:56 PM TrueBalance fits me better
Aug 11, 2011 5:52 PM Fashion and function are 50/50 so it depends on what i like/need on any given trip
Aug 11, 2011 5:47 PM What fits best and is most comfortable and preferably on sale
Aug 11, 2011 5:44 PM Neither shoe fits. Mizuno.
Aug 11, 2011 5:35 PM I like the company's position with its employees.
Aug 11, 2011 5:31 PM over-priced
Aug 11, 2011 4:55 PM Nike sucks on quality and standing behind their products. Will never get anything again from them.

Aug 11, 2011 4:04 PM I DON'T THINK I NEED IT.
Aug 11, 2011 3:48 PM Adidas is closing the gap as far as running apparel and shoes! Nike is still number 1 though.
Aug 11, 2011 3:42 PM The stripes... cannot be beat. They have issues that have not changed since the beginning. Love that.
Aug 11, 2011 3:36 PM new balance...
Aug 11, 2011 3:24 PM I'm a sucker for advertising.

Aug 11, 2011 3:03 PM different activities
Aug 11, 2011 3:00 PM I play soccer and Adidas is a more authentic brand in that sport. Nike is good but my perception is that they buy their way into a sport with endorsers (Christiano Ronaldo, Tiger Woods) rather than earning it with product developed over time.
Aug 11, 2011 2:58 PM There's no discernible difference in quality between either one and less costly brands, and I ain't payin' extra for no stinkin' logos
Aug 11, 2011 2:56 PM Stronger brand

Aug 11, 2011 2:47 PM Depends on specific product
Aug 11, 2011 11:30 AM Will switch brands based on the need and style
Aug 10, 2011 6:26 PM who cares--both over-rated and over-priced

Aug 9, 2011 5:00 PM Like both brands
Aug 9, 2011 4:38 PM to me, both have good product offerings

Aug 9, 2011 4:08 PM High quality. Brand appeal. Fresh product lines.
Aug 9, 2011 4:07 PM Don't wear either very often. Prefer running specialty brands (saucony, asics, etc) and yoga clothing (lululemon, athleta, etc)

Aug 9, 2011 11:26 AM Depends on what I'm looking for. Adidas generally more for shoes, Nike for clothing/golf apparel.
Aug 9, 2011 10:41 AM Has been around forever
Aug 9, 2011 10:36 AM No preference.
Aug 9, 2011 10:30 AM shoes fit better
Aug 9, 2011 10:27 AM I like to mix it up.
Aug 9, 2011 10:26 AM Not important to me
Aug 9, 2011 10:23 AM Both good brands.
